In a special meeting the Raton city commission honored Senator Clinton D. Harden for the work he did for Raton while in the state senate. The proclamation noted his support during the Track Fire, helping with the Aquatic Center, Canadian River watershed and other issues....

The Raton Tigers Lady Track team give great performance at the AAA State Track & Field Championships. Etta Briscoe lead the team by winning in the Shot Put with a 35 feet, 10 inch heave. Teammate Haley Ganz earned the silver with a 35 feet one and one half inch throw....

Gilbert San Roman stopped by to promote his annual Peace & Rememberance Walk. He welcomes sponsors to join him by contributing to the David Westphall Veterans Foundation. Also, Larry Osborn brought details for the upcoming Run For the Wall events on Saturday May 19th which is Armed Forces Day.
